Hello!
When I was a child I wanted to be a vet. I grew up and today I am not a vet and I do not have pets either. I can't afford to give one animal the life the animal deserves. But I am fond of animals, both pet and wild ones are fabulous creatures. I admire people who run animal shelters and save pets lives.

I selected a few to Adopt pet buttons and magnets. These are a wonderful way to spread the message. Grab one and use it in your jacket or tote bag!

Photoshop happiness

I made these two illustrations in Photoshop. All my works at A Portuguese Love are made in vector programs. But I love Photoshop. I needed to practice so I picked animals as a subject. The third one was going to be a bird. I started but then I had to deal with more urgent matters and so I stopped. Drawing animals is wonderful and I would like to do it again. I am very upset. I need to buy a new computer and I discovered that my graphics software will not work on Windows 7. Money does not buy happiness but it sure helps. Photoshop is a little part of my happiness...
